The Office of Diversity and Inclusion held its first Fall Function Thursday in the Frank W. Hale Junior Black Cultural Center for students to decorate cookies and watch the updated “Candyman” horror film.
Program Coordinator Taylor Washington said Black and brown people often feel left out of fall themed events, which encouraged him to host this pilot event featuring a Black horror movie.
