Her photos spark a sort of sand-crusted and tanned nostalgia that all beach vacations carry. In this short collection, Emma captures the intimate moments between her friends — which are both loud and whispered — wide landscapes and the minute.

Emma Dixon is a second-year studying moving-image production at Ohio State. After finding a 35mm film camera at a Goodwill, shooting on film became her new favorite way of shooting photos.
